Hello, I came across your website researching energy vortexes. This is a picture I took while hiking through the Retired Oregon City Waterworks/Clackamas Falls Tunnels in Oregon City, Oregon. This picture was taken towards the end of the hike, right before entering the last long, dark, cold tunnel leading to the top of the falls. It was the most dangerous part of our hike, with a rather narrow trail winding around a very steep cliff, where there used to be a bridge to cross inorder to enter the tunnel. While following the trail around the cliff, I shot a few pictures of my son. I did not trip or fall, I was steadily standing in one spot while taking the pictures. I was very surprised when I reviewed this particular photo. This is the only picture that looked like this. The others I took before and after, standing in the same spot were clear as day. I am aware that this could just be a glitch in the camera...ect. However, I saw your picture posted online that is VERY similar, and had to ask what you think??? Thank You! Chanel

Thank you for sending the picture Chanel! The whirlpool of an image is similar to many other pics we have received from vortex sites. We are not sure what causes this.

Are there any known vortexes in the state of Maryland? In Baltimore County, Soldiers Delight Environmental Area is a Serpentine Barren; it was once home to significant chromite mining. In this area, Gravity Hill (Deer Park Road) has long been known for slowly pulling cars uphill when they are in Neutral Drive. Thank you - Laurette

Hi Laurette, we have one spook hill location listed in Maryland. Soldiers Delight looks quite interesting. We will do more research on this area.

Having two degrees in thermal nuclear propulsion and binary physics,I can tell you very well you are incorrectly using the definition of VORTEX.Stop lying, and call trails by their actual name, and NOT freely adding the word VORTEX. You end up sounding moronic. - Anonymous

So, I'm guessing you're not a fan of the movie Atomic Blonde either. The reason for putting 'vortex' after every location is not to claim the area is a vortex, it is to help people searching online for possible vortex locations find us. Otherwise, their search results could contain a sea of Bermuda travel sites.

Hei. Two years ago i SAW something i couldnt explain. Two fluid like rings hoovering 15 meters from me while i was sitting on the grass smoking weed and meditating over the topic thanksfullness. I was very scared right away and i jumped up on my feet. The two rings moved slowly and they were almost dancing together. I felt that the rings was aware of me. I tried to film them but my phone turned itself off. IT turn on after the float into the sky after 7-8 minutes. I had 13% more battery left on my phone. The last two years ive been feeling alot around this experience. Im more draged to topics i never studied before. I have progressed alot in my life since this episode and my new interesst. The dancing rings reminded my of the water rings dolphins make for fun in the water. They moved similar and looked like materiale of fluid/ water. I couldt SEE through IT. It had som silver color on IT. Not any light or noices. I couldt SEE that IT was like water and that IT was spinning around and around. A personal vortex?. - Angelica
