Desert Hot Springs, located on a high sloping plain overlooking the Coachella Valley, is a rare geological and metaphysical site where two distinct aquifers—one hot and one cold—run parallel to each other without mixing. This phenomenon is caused by the Mission Creek Fault, a branch of the San Andreas Fault system, which acts as a subterranean barrier. The presence of odorless, mineral-rich alkaline water, heated by the earth’s interior to temperatures reaching 180°F, creates a stabilized hydrothermal vortex that some describe as a soft, pulsing, and deeply enveloping golden frequency.
The Desert Hot Springs vortex is situated between the massive granite heights of Mount San Jacinto and the open expanse of the Joshua Tree high desert. The energy of the site is described as being exceptionally restorative. The energy here is thought to facilitate a state of deep neurological reset and the softening of the physical body. Many believe that the high concentration of silica and lithium in the water acts as a natural mood stabilizer.
Desert Hot Springs is home to Cabot’s Pueblo Museum, a hand-built four-story Hopi-inspired structure created by homesteader Cabot Yerxa. Cabot famously discovered the “Twin Wonders” of the hot and cold springs just yards apart. Desert Hot Springs offers a unique environment for spiritual recalibration. The energy of the site is described as being quiet, reflective, and maternal.

This vortex was registered June 13, 2021 by Robbie – Hello, I’m looking through your vortex map and see it’s missing a very powerful place. Desert Hot Springs CA. The cities historic society talks a bit about it. We have multiple energy convergence. We have all the elements. Air, the winds through this city are very strong, the sun arcs in perfect alignment, we are on the convergence of 2 techtonic plates, we have some of the best geothermal mineral water (without sulfer smell) in the world, our drinking water is some of the purest, best tasting water in the world winning multiple international awards. They say 5 major energies converge here but, I’m thinking it may be even more if you count the cold pure water separate from the geothermal water. The Native Americans in the region made pilgrimages here to perform healing rituals for at least 5,000 years. We also sit in eye alignment of San Jacinto Mountain, another place of great emery. Joshua Tree is 30 minutes to the north. This area should not be left off the map. I believe it’s at least a strong a Sedona AZ.

Note: There is currently no scientific method to prove that vortexes exist. Just because a location is on the vortex map, does not prove there is a vortex there. What it means, is that someone suggested the location and provided evidence or a personal account, and/or we found corroborating evidence from other sources. We do this so other visitors to the site can send us their opinion on the validity of the vortex claim, to build a consensus.
Have you visited this location? If so, let us know if you think this place is a vortex or not. We will post your comments here.
