Mount Shasta Vortex

Mount Shasta, a colossal stratovolcano in the Cascade Range of Northern California, is widely considered the most prominent and spiritually significant vortex in North America. Rising over fourteen thousand feet, it is not just a geological giant but is viewed in metaphysical circles as the primary vortex and chakra node.

For the native Wintu, Pit River, and Shasta tribes, the mountain is the birthplace of the world and the home of the Great Spirit, a place so sacred that only the most prepared medicine people would ascend its slopes. In modern esoteric traditions, the mountain is famously associated with the legend of Telos, a subterranean city inhabited by highly evolved beings known as Lemurians. This belief system views the mountain as a literal portal between the physical world and higher densities of existence or extraterrestrials, with frequent reports of cloud ships, luminous orbs, and sudden temporal shifts.

Specific locations on the mountain, such as Panther Meadows and Bunny Flat, are regarded as potent mini-vortices where the mountain’s energy is most accessible to the public. Panther Meadows, with its delicate alpine springs and high-altitude flora, is seen as a heart portal characterized by a nurturing, feminine vibration that encourages profound emotional healing and peace. The constant presence of lenticular clouds—often perfectly symmetrical and stationary—is interpreted by many as a visible sign of the mountain’s unique electromagnetic and interdimensional activity.

7/29/17 Just wanted to make a little correction. When Russian expedition was looking for Sacred Shambhala, they came to Mt. Shasta. We don’t know exactly what they found, but they gave it a name ‘Gora Schastya’ ( Гора Счастья – Mt. of Happiness). Since for English speaking people almost impossible to pronounce it same way, it became Shasta. Hope it helps. Sincerely, Alexander

06.14.20Along with two friends, we visited the lavender farm there on summer solstice of 2008. I have 5 large Atlanta crystals that really light up when they go to Mt. Shasta with me. On this day in took the one in call “mother”. My friend pulled in and parked just to the left of the building where you can purchase lavender items and it was the first out of the car holding the mother crystal which weighs several pounds. As soon as my feet touched the earth my body was over taken with a force pulling me downward. As I struggled to stay standing my body swayed all over pulling me ever down toward the earthworm my top half desperately trying to stay upright. I’m never let go of the mother crystal. People stood at a distance and watched. My two friends stayed in the car staring at me in amazement. I’m knew u had stepped directly atop a vortex. After a few moments of swaying drastically to and fro u was able to step away a few feet some how. The vortex had stopped. Then my friends got out and it was over. The energy field, the vortex had stopped. We went on with our trip, Amazed, a bit bewildered. I knew that was why the mother had wanted to come that day. They all wanted to come but I could carry only the one. – Karen

Note: There is currently no scientific method to prove that vortexes exist. Just because a location is on the vortex map, does not prove there is a vortex there. What it means, is that someone suggested the location and provided evidence or a personal account, and/or we found corroborating evidence from other sources. We do this so other visitors to the site can send us their opinion on the validity of the vortex claim, to build a consensus.

Have you visited this location? If so, let us know if you think this place is a vortex or not. We will post your comments here.
