Thompson Park Vortex

Thompson Park, located at the highest point in Watertown, New York, is home to one of the most unpredictable and elusive vortices in the Northeast. Visitors describe the vibration here as being exceptionally shifty and deceptive, functioning as a localized tear in the fabric of linear time.

The Thompson Park vortex is unique because its location is said to be mobile, shifting between different wooded trails and stone structures. The most frequent reports of activity are centered near the edge of the golf course and the perimeter of Zoo New York, where the city has placed a sign acknowledging the supernatural phenomenon. This area is often referred to as Watertown Area 51, a nickname reinforced by the historical fact that the government code name for the Nevada base was actually Watertown.

Note: There is currently no scientific method to prove that vortexes exist. Just because a location is on the vortex map, does not prove there is a vortex there. What it means, is that someone suggested the location and provided evidence or a personal account, and/or we found corroborating evidence from other sources. We do this so other visitors to the site can send us their opinion on the validity of the vortex claim, to build a consensus.

Have you visited this location? If so, let us know if you think this place is a vortex or not. We will post your comments here.
