Pilot Mount Vortex

Pilot Mountain in the Piedmont region of North Carolina, is a high quartzite vortex that is a resilient remnant of ancient stone that survived the erosion of the surrounding plateau over hundreds of millions of years. The structure is composed primarily of Sauratown quartzite, a mineral-rich rock that acts as a natural capacitor for atmospheric and terrestrial energy.

Big Pinnacle is a massive, flat-topped knob of sheer white cliffs that remains inaccessible to climbers to protect its natural and energetic integrity. A significant feature of the regional energetic field is the historical connection to the Saura people, who referred to the mountain as Jomeokee, meaning the Great Guide.

Note: There is currently no scientific method to prove that vortexes exist. Just because a location is on the vortex map, does not prove there is a vortex there. What it means, is that someone suggested the location and provided evidence or a personal account, and/or we found corroborating evidence from other sources. We do this so other visitors to the site can send us their opinion on the validity of the vortex claim, to build a consensus.

Have you visited this location? If so, let us know if you think this place is a vortex or not. We will post your comments here.
