El Yunque Vortex

El Yunque National Forest, located in the Luquillo Mountains of northeastern Puerto Rico, is a tropical vortex that is situated on a rugged volcanic massif composed of Cretaceous period volcanic rocks, including andesite and tuff, which have been weathered into deep, mineral-rich soils. The vortex encompasses the peaks of El Toro and El Yunque, which were traditionally revered by the indigenous Taíno people as the throne of the deity Yukiyú. The energy is centered on the countless waterfalls and rivers, such as the La Mina and Mameyes. Reports are that the atmosphere feels physically alive and communicative.

Note: There is currently no scientific method to prove that vortexes exist. Just because a location is on the vortex map, does not prove there is a vortex there. What it means, is that someone suggested the location and provided evidence or a personal account, and/or we found corroborating evidence from other sources. We do this so other visitors to the site can send us their opinion on the validity of the vortex claim, to build a consensus.

Have you visited this location? If so, let us know if you think this place is a vortex or not. We will post your comments here.
