Green Mountain Trail

Green Mountain Trail… I live within walking distance of this mountain. As to a vortex, that is beyond my pay grade, but I can say that there are a number of Trail Trees or Indian Marker Trees along the mountains that lie above the Tennessee Valley. A friend, who is a dowser, said that a vortex is present in our front yard and they tend to be associated with underground streams or springs. If you want to learn more about Trail Trees check out Don Well’s MountainStewards.org website. He has done a thorough study on the subject and his ‘Mystery of the Trees‘ documentary provides a good overview of what the trees represent. As to the trees in the photos, there are some pretty stiff winds along the ridge, but some of the twisting may be man made. We know that the bent trees exist both in nature and are man made as well. The Cherokee and other first peoples of the area developed a system of these trees and only they know their real purpose. A lot of that information is protected by the blood laws so unless you are of the initiated, we will never know their meaning. – Rusty
