San Marcos, Texas

Hi! I just wanted to contribute to the website. Thanks for running it! There’s an energetic vortex at the headwaters of the San Marcos river in San Marcos, Texas. In fact, the hill country extending west of I-35, Austin, and the Balcones fault line, is full of such vortices, such as Enchanted Rock. At the headwaters of the river is Spring Lake, which is among the oldest continually inhabited regions of North America, due to it’s incredibly clean, abundant and rejuvenating water. There is evidence that humans have lived there for at least the past 10,000 years, but likely even more. There are several endangered species, such as the Texas Blind Salamander and Texas Wild Rice, which exist in this river alone. The water is 3x cleaner than the EPA standard for drinking water, and is more pure than almost anything you could find in a grocery store. This and other hill country vortices are responsible for the explosive growth Austin has seen in recent decades, and are a contributing force to the high vibrational frequency found in the area, resulting in the lush music, arts and higher consciousness the area is known for. I’ve attached some photos for your convenience. Namaste – Matthew
