I couldn’t figure out how to register so I could log in and post a comment, hence the email. Family and I just visited Crater Lake a few days ago, it was my first time there. I’m a geologist, and very in tune with the earth, and I’m intuitive and sensitive to energies. Also black belt in taekwondo and very fit, and was eating and keeping hydrated etc. I’m emailing to ask if what I experienced at Crater Lake could have been cortex related. I wish I’d found this site sooner, as it didn’t occur to me that Crater Lake is a vortex area… anyway, we camped at Union Creek and had been acclimated to elevation as we’d been road tripping in the area for a few days. Arrived at the park midday and spent the afternoon there til around 5. It was very crowded with little opportunity for solitude but I spent some quiet time connecting while my kids drew pictures of the Lake. I began to feel tired and a little weak and disoriented over the course of the day. It felt like early stages of altitude sickness which I’ve had once before (but that onset between 8000-9000 feet). I got it in my head that that’s what it was and began to feel better once we got back down to Union Creek. Now that I see it’s a vortex I’m wondering if it was due wholly or in part to that. Does anyone experience negative reactions like that? I can list any number of wonderful locations I’ve been at and near without these effects. Interested in your take. Thanks! – Sarah
