This is a beautiful hotel and very special to me. I love this hotel and every time I’m in downtown San Antonio I go and sit in their lobby. It’s one of the few places that calms me and is peaceful.
We had our wedding reception here and stayed the night. I did have the privilege of seeing one of the hotel’s long time residents.
Side Note:
I just realized that I’m attracted to all the vortexes in Texas. This is the first time hearing about Vortexes much less Texas vortexes.

Menger Hotel: Had my wedding there. – RAE
