Green Island Preserve, located in Wadena, Minnesota, is a preserve that sits on sixty acres of former dairy farmland that has been meticulously reforested, transforming the site from an industrial agricultural plot into a lush, biodiverse sanctuary.
The preserve features a system of story-trails adorned with outdoor sculptures, which function as markers that guide visitors through a journey of self-reflection.
Green Island Preserve earth Vortex is located in the Freshwater pine forest. Freshwater forest is inside a small forest which is inside the city of Wadena, Minnesota located in the northern 1/3 of the state . The vortex was identified by two different geomancers using two different methods. The photo shows the approximate center but it is unclear just how large it is. One warning was that pine trees would not fare well in such a vortex. Several nearby pines have been showing illness, decline, and even death. No one has yet spent any prolonged time in this vortex and therefore there are no descriptions of it effect. – Kent

Note: There is currently no scientific method to prove that vortexes exist. Just because a location is on the vortex map, does not prove there is a vortex there. What it means, is that someone suggested the location and provided evidence or a personal account, and/or we found corroborating evidence from other sources. We do this so other visitors to the site can send us their opinion on the validity of the vortex claim, to build a consensus.
Have you visited this location? If so, let us know if you think this place is a vortex or not. We will post your comments here.
