Oregon Vortex

The Oregon Vortex, located in Gold Hill near the Rogue River in southern Oregon, is a roadside attraction that consists of a number of interesting effects, which the proprietors propose are the result of paranormal properties of the area. The Oregon Vortex is viewed as a spherical field of force where the laws of physics and linear perception are suspended.

The House of Mystery, a former gold refinery office built in 1904 that slid down the hillside into the center of the anomaly is a tilted structure that serves as a physical amplifier for the vortex, where the slanted floors and walls create a sensory environment that challenges the human vestibular system. Practitioners describe the vibration within the house as being exceptionally pressurized and swirling, functioning as a vortex within a vortex. The energy is noted for its ability to produce physical height changes, where individuals standing on opposite ends of a level platform appear to grow or shrink in relation to one another.

The Oregon Vortex energetic field includes its long history as a location avoided by indigenous tribes, who referred to it as forbidden ground. Horses and other animals are famously known to resist entering the perimeter, suggesting that the site emits a high-frequency vibration or magnetic signature that is unsettling to the natural world. Many sensitives report that the energy in Gold Hill feels like a continuous spiral that draws the consciousness toward the earth’s core.

Note: There is currently no scientific method to prove that vortexes exist. Just because a location is on the vortex map, does not prove there is a vortex there. What it means, is that someone suggested the location and provided evidence or a personal account, and/or we found corroborating evidence from other sources. We do this so other visitors to the site can send us their opinion on the validity of the vortex claim, to build a consensus.
