Shepherdstown, West Virginia, established in 1762 as the oldest town in the state. The town is riddled with sinkholes and subterranean caves. This limestone foundation, acts as a natural terrestrial capacitor, storing the magnetic and acoustic energy generated by the flow of the Potomac River.

Shepherdstown is in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia near where Maryland, Va and WV come together. This Vortex is known as a calming and attracting presence located on the spot where the town founder built his home, a fort, the court house and the university.
