Vortex Type: Energy
Registered 2.22.16 by Jean - Notable energy vortex where at night the Veil is quite thin. Former pow-wow site for Lenni Lenape tribes. Now noted for views of migrating birds. The park is officially closed at sundown, but it's at night when spirits walk. Not as strong as Sedona vortexes, and different energy, but stronger than anything else I've experienced in North America, outside the SW.

10 Oct 2023 - Hi, I was the writer Jean who mentioned the vortex at Hawk Mountain in 2016. I’ve had numerous experiences at night in the Sanctuary, particularly the Negative Vortex between the entrance and the South Lookout, and also at the Lookout and along the trail leading to the North Lookout. Also in the Hall of the Mt. King. I’d be happy to discuss with anyone who is familiar with vortexes! ~Jeanne

Note: There is currently no scientific method to prove that vortexes exist. Just because a location is on the vortex map, does not prove there is a vortex there. What it means, is that someone suggested the location and provided evidence or a personal account, and/or we found corroborating evidence from other sources. We do this so other visitors to the site can send us their opinion on the validity of the vortex claim, to build a consensus.
Have you visited this location? If so, contact us and let us know if you think this place is a vortex or not. We will post your comments here.
